Gavin Counsell, FIA, is a Director and Senior Portfolio Manager, Multi Asset. He joined Allianz Global Investors from Aviva Investors in 2018 to support the growth of our UK domiciled multi asset portfolios. This includes the flagship RiskMaster Multi Asset Fund range, which targets volatility and is designed to deliver a specific level of risk to the client. At Aviva Investors, Gavin was senior fund manager across a range of multi-asset portfolios, his role focused on portfolio construction and active asset allocation. Gavin started his financial career at Aon, before moving to Willis Towers Watson as an Investment Consultant. He graduated from The University of Warwick with a First Class Masters in Mathematics (MMaths), and is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, FIA.

David Hollis has primary responsibility for the management of the UK domiciled multi-asset portfolios. Additionally, as part of the Global Economics & Strategy Group, he provides investment research to the entire RCM global investment platform with a focus on cross asset class, fixed income and UK economic analysis. He also manages the currency overlay strategy for selected global equity portfolios in London. He has been with the RCM company group since 1998, having originally been selected to join the Graduate Training Scheme at the investment bank Dresdner Kleinwort Benson. After transferring to RCM asset management in 2000, he has amassed a breadth of experience that has included portfolio management of corporate bond funds, UK fixed income securities, multi-currency sovereign bond portfolios and UK and global multi-asset funds. David graduated from the London School of Economics with a First Class BSc (Hons) in Economics.
