Joe has worked at some of the largest banks and hedge funds in the world. He began his career at Morgan Stanley in 1997 in investment banking and equity research in energy & shipping. He moved to the buy side in 2007 with GLG under Greg Coffey, where he was Lead Equity & Commodities Analyst, and then joined Moore Capital with Coffey in 2009. Joe was a Portfolio Manager at Société Générale from 2011-2016, responsible for global long/short equity book focused on energy, resources, shipping, and utilities. Joe holds a Bachelor's degree from the School of Public and International Affairs, Princeton University.

Tom graduated in 2001 with a MEng in Engineering Science from Oxford University. He joined Lehman Brothers as an investment banking analyst in the ECM team in Hong Kong. He subsequently joined Anglo Chinese Corporate Finance focusing on IPOs, M&A and other corporate finance transactions in Hong Kong and China. In 2005, Tom joined Nikki Martin at GAM in 2005, focusing on the investment processes of European long/short and long only mandates. Tom gained an MSc in Finance (with Distinction) from Imperial College London Business School and is a CFA charterholder. Nikki and Tom moved to Aldersgate Investment Managers, where they developed a dynamic quantamental strategy and, after two years, moved to Ivaldi Capital running the same strategy within a pan European equity long/short. Ivaldi was backed by capital from two Nordic pension funds, AP4 and ATP. After spending a year at BlueCrest Capital Management, Nikki and Tom joined Trium in March 2018.
