The board of Smithson Investment Trust Plc is proposing to wind up the company and combine with Smithson Equity Fund. You can elect to rollover some or all of your holding Smithson Investment Trust Plc and receive new Smithson Equity Fund Class S Accumulation shares in the Smithson Equity Fund, or elect to receive cash in place of your holding. If you take no action you will receive shares.

 

You have two options to consider before our deadline of noon on 9 February 2026.

 

Option 1 - Rollover into Smithson Equity Fund (DEFAULT). You can rollover your holding into Smithson Equity Fund shares. If you would like this option, you do not need to take any action.

 

Option 2 - Cash option. As an alternative to the Smithson Equity Fund shares, you can instead elect to receive cash in place of all or part of your holding.
