(Sharecast News) - Medical technology firm Inspiration Healthcare said on Thursday that it had nominated Harout Rafi to take over as the group's next chief executive officer.
Rafi will join the board of Inspiration Healthcare on 8 January, at which time Roy Davis will return to the role of non-executive chairman.
The AIM-listed group said Rafi, who most recently served as CEO of Swedish medical device firm Breas Medical, was an "experienced and commercially focused healthcare industry professional", with extensive operational experience within fast-growing international medical device companies.
Davis said: "We are delighted to welcome Raffi on board, and we look forward to him joining the Inspiration team. He has been instrumental in developing industry-leading respiratory solutions in his past roles and has a track record of delivery.
"Raffi brings significant international commercial expertise including successful US product launches. We believe Raffi has the right skillset to execute on our future plans and deliver long-term value to shareholders and I look forward to working with him."
As of 1315 GMT, Inspiration shares were down 1.45% at 13.55p.
