Kooth slides as Root Capital sells 3.7m shares in placing

(Sharecast News) - Kooth tumbled on Tuesday after Root Capital sold just over 3.75 million shares in the company in a placing.

Root Capital placed the shares - which represent about 10.3% of the issued share capital - at 280p each, versus a closing price of 318p on Monday.

Stifel Nicolaus Europe acted as sole bookrunner in connection with the placing.

At 1035 BST, Kooth shares were down 10.4% at 284.95p.
