(Sharecast News) - Advanced security and surveillance systems developer Petards has secured a £400,000 order for a critical communication system via its recently acquired Afifini Technology subsidiary.
Petards said on Wednesday that the order was for the supply and installation of a new wireless communications system to support the customer's ongoing activities at a major UK site.
The AIM-listed group stated deliveries were expected to commence in October and the order was scheduled to be fully delivered within the current year.
Chairman Raschid Abdullah said: "It is very pleasing that this customer has chosen to award this contract to Affini and giving it the opportunity to work with them in delivering their critical communications infrastructure project.
"This order adds to the contract award successes announced by both Petards Rail and QRO in recent weeks further adding to the current group's order book."
As of 0955 BST, Petards shares had surged 11.11% to 10.0p.
