(Sharecast News) - Healthcare services provider Totally has secured a new insourcing contract and an extension of its NHS 111 online contract, collectively valued at roughly £6.1m.

Totally said on Friday that the insourcing contract was a further expansion of its footprint across the north of England and was worth roughly £5.0m. The contract will be mobilised immediately, with the work set to be delivered by the end of March 2025.

The AIM-listed group stated the contract extension was for existing services delivering NHS 111 "Speak to" and online dispositions for a Trust in the north-east of England and runs from 1 April 2024 to 30 September 2025 and was valued at £1.1m.

Chief executive officer Wendy Lawrence said: "These two contracts demonstrate how we can support this for patients across the UK - making sure patients can access help when they need it, and increasing capacity so that no one waits longer than they need to for essential treatment."

As of 1015 BST, Totally shares had shot up 11.67% to 9.49p.
