Harry Hoare, Helpdesk Team Leader




Tax year end is the busiest time of year for the HL Helpdesk, as savers and investors look to make the most of their ISA and pension allowances before the 5 April deadline.

On 5 April, our Helpdesk will be on hand until midnight to answer any of your questions.

This isn't personal advice. Our skilled agents can answer your questions on investments, savings, ISAs and pensions. But they don’t offer personal investment advice. If you're not sure what's right for you, ask them about financial advice or book in a call with our advisory team.

Unlike the security offered by cash, investments rise and fall in value, so you could get back less than you invest. Product and tax rules can change, and any benefits depend on your circumstances.

Investment Helpdesk

Lydia Honeywell – Team Leader

Lydia joined HL in 2021, spending time with our Investment Helpdesk and Account Managers before being promoted into her current role as Team Leader.

This experience has developed Lydia’s expertise across the business, helping to build meaningful relationships and provide clients with the best possible outcomes.

Lydia graduated with a degree in Philosophy, Ethics and Religion, and is currently working towards the PRINCE 2 project management qualification.

Munashe Rumhuma - Helpdesk Consultant

Munashe works on the Investment Helpdesk, answering your questions and helping her more junior colleagues.

This year will be Munashe’s first tax year end experience, having joined HL just under a year ago in April 2023.

Munashe graduated with a 1st class honours degree in Biomedical Science.

Pensions Helpdesk

Sam Senior – Team Leader

Sam joined HL in 2018, working on our Helpdesk, including training others, before being promoted to Team Leader in 2022.

With six tax year ends under his belt, he has plenty of experience and knows the importance of making things easy for clients. His recommendation is to be prepared and give yourself enough time to act.

Sam graduated with a degree in Business Management. He also holds the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment – Introduction to Securities and Investment certificate, and the Chartered Insurance Institute – Investment Principles and Risk certificate.

Daisy Harrison-Patel – Helpdesk Specialist

Daisy joined our Client Support team in January 2023, before moving to our Pensions Helpdesk.

Daisy provides coaching to colleagues, and works on a variety of complex queries. This has helped her become well-versed in various areas and is a point of contact within the team.

Daisy graduated from university with a degree in Illustration.

Client Support Helpdesk

Alexander Ata-Amonoo - Helpdesk Consultant

Alex joined HL in June 2023 and has spent his time so far with our Client Support Helpdesk.

He’s recently started training new colleagues and helping to support answering more complex questions within our Client Support team.

With over 15 years of experience in client facing positions, Alex knows what excellent customer service looks like, and will be providing this to our clients in his first tax year end.

Andrew Janes – Team Leader

Andrew joined our Client Support team as a consultant over 8 years ago, before being promoted to Team Leader a year later.

He’s been responsible for providing training for management across our Helpdesk and Operations team. His passion for developing colleagues has led him back to working closely with our training teams.

Andrew’s recently been working with our newest consultants, making sure we’re delivering the highest standard of service across the tax year end period.

You can always get through on the telephone to someone who knows what they are talking about, and if they don't, they will transfer you to someone who does know
