What we do not charge for

We do not charge for:  

• opening an account and holding cash (uninvested money) 
• automatic reinvestment of income 
• account inactivity  
• moving money or investments between HL accounts  
• transferring out of HL  
• closing an HL account  
• Direct Debits 
• fund trades (until 1 March 2026, at which point our charges are changing)
• paper statements
