Caspian Sunrise plc is a United Kingdom-based oil and gas exploration and production company. The Company owns the Caspian Explorer, a drilling vessel designed to operate in the shallow northern Caspian Sea. The Company operates through four segments: Oil & Gas assets, Drilling services by CTS, Drilling services by Caspian Explorer, and Oil Trading. Oil & Gas assets segment is engaged in the oil exploration and production. Drilling services by CTS segment includes onshore drilling services in Kazakhstan provided by CTS LLP. Drilling services by Caspian Explorer segment includes offshore drilling services provided using the Caspian Explorer, Corporate allocated includes expenses corporate allocated. The Company owns 99% of the BNG Contract Area from which it produces approximately 2,300 barrels of oil per day (bopd). The Company's subsidiaries include Eragon Petroleum Limited, Eragon Petroleum FZE, Prosperity Petroleum LTD, Beibars BV, Roxi Petroleum Kazakhstan LLP, among others.
