Hardide plc is a provider of tungsten carbide/tungsten metal matrix composite coatings. The Company is a producer of patented Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD) coatings. Its coatings enhance the life span of metal parts operating in abrasive, erosive, corrosive and chemically aggressive environments. Its range of nanostructured coatings can be applied to a range of metallic substrates, including stainless steels, superalloys, tool and carbon steels, as well as nickel, copper and cobalt-based alloys, and are a recognized replacement for hard chrome and cadmium plating, ceramics and HVOF tungsten carbides. Its coatings range includes Hardide-T, Hardide-T, Hardide-W and Hardide-D. Its coatings can be applied to a variety of alloy materials and all main categories of stainless steel, including austenitic, ferritic, martensitic, precipitation-hardening, duplex and super duplex.
