Take up your option to buy more shares in Pennon Group

You can buy a maximum of 13 new shares for every 20 shares you held at the end of 31 January 2025, at a fixed price of 264p each.

Before making your decision, it’s important you read the full details we're sending you by post or secure message, including the frequently asked questions.

Buying more Pennon Group shares – Act by noon on Thursday 13 February 2025

You’ll need enough money on your capital account from noon on 13 February 2025 until the money is used on 14 February 2025.

We’ll add your new shares to your account on or around 18 February 2025.

Alternatively, you can sell your rights at our normal dealing charges until the end of the day on Thursday 13 February 2025. You can't give an instruction to sell your rights here.

Buying the shares in a different HL account

If you hold the rights in an ISA / LISA you can buy the shares in that ISA / LISA or in a Fund & Share Account. You’ll need to have a Fund & Share Account open with money available. Please note, just making the cash available in your Fund & Share Account is not enough – you’ll need to give a specific instruction in the further details box below to buy these shares outside of the ISA.

If you do not hold the rights in an ISA / LISA you can only buy the shares in the account where you currently hold your rights.

If you don’t want to buy more shares in Pennon Group, you don’t need to do anything. Your rights to buy new shares may have a value. If so, they’ll be sold for you shortly after 13 February 2025. Any proceeds after costs will be added to your HL account.

Full details of this event will be sent to Qualifying Hargreaves Lansdown clients by either post or secure message. Please note that any instruction you give must be based on the full details provided in the letter and not on the summary information outlined above.

The London Stock Exchange does not disclose whether a trade is a buy or a sell so this data is estimated based on the trade price received and the LSE-quoted mid-price at the point the trade is placed. It should only be considered an indication and not a recommendation.

Trades priced above the mid-price at the time the trade is placed are labelled as a buy; those priced below the mid-price are sells; and those priced close to the mid-price or declared late are labelled 'N/A'.
