(Sharecast News) - Supercapacitor manufacturer Cap-XX revealed on Friday that it has struck a new master distribution agreement with Waldom Electronics.
Cap-XX said the strategic partnership will enhance global accessibility to its supercapacitor solutions by leveraging Waldom's "extensive distribution network", allowing the firm to extend its reach to high-volume global distributors, including the likes of Arrow Electronics and Avnet.
The AIM-listed firm stated Waldom, based in Illinois, will also play "a crucial role" in the supply chain by enabling local and niche distributors to purchase Cap-XX products in smaller quantities, mitigating investment risks for smaller distributors.
By utilising Waldom's centralised inventory model and efficient logistics, Cap-xx anticipates that it will benefit from streamlined product availability and faster delivery times to its distribution partners.
Chief executive Lars Stegmann said: "We are delighted to partner with Waldom as a master distributor. This agreement allows us to better serve our growing customer base, particularly in high-volume markets, while offering smaller distributors the flexibility to access our products without high minimum order requirements."
As of 0930 GMT, Cap-XX shares were up 5.60% at 0.12p.
