(Sharecast News) - Games developer Team17 said on Thursday that it had continued to trade well in H224 and announced that it will be rebranding to Everplay Group next month.

Team17 said solid H2 trading was driven by an improved performance from new releases and "another excellent performance" in its back catalogue. It also said trading over the Christmas period was strong and that it has seen this "encouraging momentum" continuing into January.

As a result, the AIM-listed group expect to deliver FY24 revenues and adjusted underlying earnings "slightly ahead of market expectations".

Team17 also said trading in its shares under the new ticker of EVPL will commence on 24 January, while the change of name was expected to take effect in "early February".

As of 1130 GMT, Team17 shares had rallied 10.42% to 265.0p.
