(Sharecast News) - Windows, doors and roofing group Eurocell has purchased residential construction products firm Alunet for 29m.

The acquisition comprises an initial 22m payment followed by a deferred 7m payable from 2026, along with a potential for 6m more based on performance.

The deal strengthens Eurocell's position in the residential aluminium systems and composite doors market, and adds garage doors to the its product portfolio, the company said in a statement on Friday.

Alunet, which generated 43m in revenues in 2024, is made up of four divisions, covering: aluminium window and doors solutions, timber doors, aluminium garage doors and aluminium roller shutter garage doors.

"Alunet is a great acquisition for Eurocell. It significantly strengthens our position in aluminium, enhances our composite door offering, and adds a premium range of aluminium garage doors to our portfolio of home improvement products," said Eurocell's chief executive Darren Waters.

"Alunet has grown rapidly since its establishment in 2013, and under Eurocell's ownership, we will leverage our leading market positions in new build, trade fabrication and distribution, to help the business reach its full potential."
