(Sharecast News) - Investors' attention on Tuesday would be squarely on an expected phone conversation between the US and Russian presidents.
They were expected to try and thrash out a ceasefire deal on Ukraine directly between themselves.
Against that backdrop, the afternoon would see the release of reports covering US housing starts and permits, import prices and industrial production all in the month of February.
At 1000 BST, the prestigious ZEW institute was scheduled to publish its closely followed economic confidence index for Germany.
No major economic reports were due out in the UK.
For Computacenter's full-year figures, UBS analyst Michael Briest said that he would be looking for more details on the company's Professional and Managed Services units.
Computacenter had already pre-announced results, guiding towards profit before tax at the low end of the consensus range, which stood at 254m at the time.
Briest said that he also wanted an update on who would succeed Chris Jehle as finance chief after the CFO stepped down in the middle of December.
Other focal points would include the expected impact of trade tariffs, German debt brake reform, outlook for the UK,
cloud and AI-related contracts in the States.
UBS would also be looking for any green shoots in Workplace following the end of support for Windows 10, which was expected to catalyse a PC refresh.
