Why did I not receive a tax certificate with my investment report?
We only produce a consolidated tax certificate if any of your savings or investments were held in a Fund and Share Account or an Active Savings account and generated an income or interest.
If you have no savings or investments in these accounts, or these accounts did not produce any income or interest over the previous tax year, you will not receive a tax certificate.
We do not produce a tax certificate for investments held within an ISA or SIPP as these accounts are tax-efficient wrappers. Dividends paid from VCTs are also exempt from income tax, and therefore will not appear on a tax certificate.
