The project is held under prospecting license 7573L. The tenement has a surface area of 39.39 square Kilometers (km2), within which there are no human settlements. The Company's subsidiaries include Altona Rare Earths (Uganda) Limited, Altona Rare Earths (Tanzania) Limited, Altona Rare Earths Mauritius Ltd and Monte Muambe Mining Lda.
