Aquila European Renewables Plc is a United Kingdom-based closed-ended investment company. The Company's objective is to provide investors with an attractive long-term, income-based return in EUR through a diversified portfolio of wind, solar photovoltaic (PV) and hydropower investments across continental Europe and Ireland. In addition, a balance is maintained between government supported revenues, fixed price power purchase agreements and market power price risk. It will acquire a mix of controlling and non-controlling interests in renewable energy infrastructure investments and may use a range of investment instruments to pursue its investment objective, including, but not limited to, equity, mezzanine or debt investments. It will not invest more than 25% of its gross asset value (including cash) in any single asset. Its portfolio will comprise no fewer than six renewable energy infrastructure investments.
