Corcel PLC is an upstream oil and gas development company, with residual interests in battery metals. It retains several projects in the battery metals space offering exposure to key electrification commodities, such as nickel, rare earth elements and lithium. Its Canegrass Lithium Project covers an area extending over part of the Windimurra Igneous Complex, a large differentiated layered ultramafic to mafic intrusion emplaced within the Yilgarn craton of Western Australia. It owns Mt Weld (P38/4489) Project, a granted mineral tenement, located only 1.4 kilometers west-northwest of Lynas Rare Earths Limited’s Mt Weld REE Mine near Laverton in Western Australia. Its MT. Weld Rare Earth Elements Project covers 171 hectares in size and the tenement straddles the mine access road to Lynas’s Mt Weld Mine. It also has interests in three oil blocks in Angola, namely KON-11, KON-12 and KON-16. It owns 41% of license EL1390 covering 256 square kilometers Near Kokoda in Papua New Guinea.
