Highland Copper Company Inc. is a Canada-based company focused on exploring and developing copper projects in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the United States of America. The Company’s principal assets, located in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula region, include the 100%-owned Copperwood copper project (the Copperwood Project) and the 34%-owned White Pine North copper project (the White Pine North Project). The Company owns the Copperwood deposit through long-term mineral leases and 34% of the White Pine North project through a joint venture with Kinterra Copper USA LLC. The Copperwood Project property is located on the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan, approximately 14 miles (22.5 kilometers) north of Wakefield. The White Pine North Project is located on M-64, directly across from the unincorporated town site of White Pine. The Company's subsidiaries include Upper Peninsula Holding Company Inc., Keweenaw Copper Co., and Copperwood Resources Inc.
