It also invests in commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) and RMBS that are not guaranteed by a United States government agency or a federally chartered corporation, as well as commercial mortgage loans, TBAs and other real estate-related investments. It conducts its business through its subsidiary, IAS Operating Partnership L.P.
