ProVen VCT plc is a venture capital trust. The Company investment objective is to achieve a total return greater than that available from direct investment in quoted businesses by investing in a portfolio of selected smaller companies. The Company has three share classes: Ordinary Shares of 5% each (Ordinary Shares), C Shares of 25% each (C Shares) and D Shares of 1% each (D Shares). As of February 29, 2012, its ordinary share held investments in 15 companies, of which 13were unquoted and two quoted; C Share pool consisted of holdings in 20 unquoted companies, D Shares pool consisted of nine unquoted companies. During the fiscal year ended February 29, 2012, its investments included Espresso Group Limited, Think Limited, SPC International Limited, Campden Media Limited and Donatantonio Limited, among others. The investment manager of the Company is Beringea LLP.
