UIL Limited is a closed-end investment company. It invests in shares, bonds, convertibles, and other types of securities, including non-investment grade bonds and investing in unlisted securities. It also invests in other investment companies or vehicles, including any managed by the Investment Managers, where such investment would be complementary to the Company’s investment objective and policy. It invests in various sectors, including financial services, mobility, technology, and gold mining. ICM Investment Management Limited and ICM Limited are the investment managers of the Company.

The investment objective is to maximise shareholder returns by identifying and investing in compelling long-term investments worldwide, where the underlying value is not reflected in the market share price.
