How to change your email address
Updating your personal details is easiest online, and only takes a few minutes. Here’s how to change your email address.

How to change your email address on the website
- Log in online to see your accounts.
- Select ‘Account settings’ from the tab list.
- Select ‘Personal details and statement delivery’.
- If you have two-factor authentication set up, you’ll be asked to enter your Online Password and the verification code we’ll send to your mobile number.
- Select ‘Edit personal details’.
- Enter your new email address.
- Re-enter your email address.
- Select ‘Save’ to confirm your changes.
How to change your email address on the app
- Select ‘Accounts’ in the bottom left corner.
- Log in using your chosen verification method.
- On iPhone: Select the menu icon in the top left corner. Then select ‘Profile and settings’.
On Android: Select ‘Settings’. - Select ‘Personal details’, then next to Email select ‘Edit’.
- Enter your new email address.
- Select ‘Save’ to confirm.
What happens next
We’ll send an email to your previous email address to confirm your change of details. All future emails will then go to your new address.
It may take a few hours for the changes you’ve made to take effect.
