How to change a nominated bank account
A nominated bank account is the account your money will move to when you withdraw it. Here’s how to change it.

Before you start
- It takes around 2-3 working days for us to send a validation code by post as part of this process. You should factor this in if you’re planning on withdrawing money soon.
- Your validation code will be sent to the address we hold for you. If you’ve recently updated your address, you will not be able to change your nominated bank account for 21 days.
- We need to be able to confirm your address before you set up your nominated bank account. If we can’t do this, we may ask for further documents as proof of identity.
- Nominated bank accounts are not used for your SIPP account.
- Your nominated bank account can only be a UK bank account. If you do not have one, please contact us.
