How to change your address
Updating your personal details is easiest online, and only takes a few minutes. Here’s how to change your address.
Before you start
You won’t be able to update your nominated bank account for up to 21 days after changing your address. Please bear this in mind if you’re planning to do this before withdrawing money.
How to change your address on the website
- Log in online to see your accounts.
- Select ‘Account settings’ from the tab list.
- Select ‘Personal details and statement delivery’.
- If you have two-factor authentication set up, you’ll be asked to enter your Online Password and the verification code we’ll send to your mobile number.
- Select ‘Edit personal details’.
- Enter your new house number or name.
- Enter your new postcode and select ‘Search’.
- Select the correct address and select ‘Save’ to confirm your changes.
What happens next
Once we’ve completed some checks, we’ll send a confirmation letter to your new address. You won’t be able to make further changes for up to five days after this.
